About the Solana Beach Soccer Club

About the Club:

The Solana Beach Soccer Club (“SBSC”) provides a youth recreational soccer program for children in kindergarten through 12th grade.  The Club was created in 1979 and is a non-profit corporation (501c(3) - Tax ID 95-3371112) based in Solana Beach, CA.  Practices and regular season games begin in late summer (August) and run through the week before Thanksgiving.  The Club serves about 500 players with the support of our generous sponsors, awesome volunteer coaches and enthusiastic families.

The Club is now part of US Club Soccer (Home - US Club Soccer Website).

SBSC Philosophy:

The Solana Beach Soccer Club provides youth in our community a positive, character-building youth sports experience and to promote a love of the game of soccer among our players, coaches, parents and community.  Our goal is to provide activities that offer recreational, social, and physical development for children of all skill levels - teaching life skills through sports.  We are committed to providing participants with the opportunity to develop athletically and personally in a positive, supportive, and safe environment.

Positive Coaching Alliance:

The Solana Beach Soccer Club is proud to partner with Positive Coaching Alliance ("PCA") to bring a positive culture to youth sports in Solana Beach. The Club recognizes the importance sports can play in providing character developing experiences for our young athletes.

SBSC wants to thank the city of Solana Beach for supporting our effort to create a positive youth sports experience for our players.
