Refund Policy
There will be NO refunds of registration fees after June 15, 2010. Please contact the SBSC Registrar to request a refund.
Specific Team/Coach Requests
SBSC will not accept a request for a player to be placed on the same
team as another player, except in the case of siblings of the same gender in the same division, or where
the parents of the players have volunteered to serve as head and assistant coach of the same team (each
team has only 1 head coach and only 1 assistant coach). SBSC will not accept requests for a child to
be placed on the team of a specific coach.
Play Up
Parents may request in writing along with the registration that their child play up to an
older division to remain with peers at their grade level or based on exceptional skill level. A play-up
request to enable a player to play with school grade peers is generally approved by the Registrar unless
there are extenuating circumstances (eg. A significant disparity in physical size or playing ability) in which
case, the play-up request will be forwarded to the Board for its decision. A request based on skill level
must include a letter of recommendation from your child's most recent coach. The Board will review each
request and make a decision whether to approve it. Play-up requests for any other reason will be
forwarded to the Board.
